Chennai and surrounding cities faced severe flooding due to heavy rains from Cyclone Michuang on December 4. Despite partial normalization in some areas, lingering floods continued to keep people confined to their homes. South actor Vishnu Vishal shared images of his house surrounded by rainwater on social media, highlighting the dire situation.
Vishnu Vishal’s post garnered widespread attention, prompting government officials to take swift action. The rescue team successfully evacuated Vishnu Vishal and his wife, Jwala Gutta, from their waterlogged house. Surprisingly, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, who was reportedly present in Vishnu Vishal’s Chennai colony for work discussions, was also rescued by the team.
Expressing gratitude, Vishnu Vishal commended the Tamil Nadu government for their prompt response in facilitating the rescue. It was revealed that Aamir Khan had been in Chennai since his visit for Kamal Haasan’s birthday celebration. Vishnu Vishal had previously posted a picture with Aamir Khan and Kamal Haasan, referring to them as superstars. However, he later edited the caption to avoid controversy after facing criticism from fans who felt he should reserve the term “superstar” for Rajinikanth.
