The shooting of the upcoming Bollywood comedy film, Jolly LLB 3, starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, has found itself embroiled in controversy as a complaint has been filed against it in Ajmer. The complaint alleges that the film, known for its humorous take on the legal system, disrespects judges and lawyers, tarnishing the image of the judiciary.
Chandrabhan Singh Rathod, the President of the Ajmer District Bar Association, has lodged the complaint against the film’s producer, director, and actors, claiming that the franchise portrays lawyers and judges inappropriately and indecently. He criticized the filmmakers for not respecting the dignity and prestige of the Indian judiciary system, citing scenes from the previous Jolly LLB films where lawyers are kicked, chased with sticks, and judges are depicted consuming gutkha and engaging in money transactions.

The Ajmer District Bar Association has taken legal action to halt the shooting of Jolly LLB 3 in Ajmer, filing an application in the court of Civil Judge Ajmer North and requesting a notice to be issued to the film’s team. The hearing of the case is scheduled to take place soon.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi have begun shooting for the film in Ajmer since April 29. They shared a light-hearted video to mark the commencement of the shoot, hinting at the comedic elements that fans can expect from the movie. The third installment of the Jolly LLB franchise promises to feature Akshay and Arshad in a legal face-off, with Saurabh Shukla reprising his role as a judge.
