In a recent development that has gripped social media and garnered widespread attention, YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT2 winner Elvish Yadav was arrested by the Noida Police in connection with a case involving the procurement and misuse of snake venom. This arrest comes after Yadav was called in for questioning and subsequently charged under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120A (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code.

The case, which dates back to November 3 last year, revolves around a rave party held at a banquet hall in Noida’s Sector 51. Allegations surfaced that snake venom was provided at the party for recreational use, prompting an investigation by Maneka Gandhi’s People for Animals organization. The sting operation conducted by the NGO revealed disturbing details, leading to the arrest of six individuals, including Elvish Yadav, under suspicion of involvement in the procurement and distribution of snake venom.

According to reports, forensic investigations confirmed the presence of venom from cobra and krait species of snakes in samples seized from the party. Additionally, it was discovered that nine snakes found at the party had their venom glands removed, with eight of them missing their teeth—a clear indication of tampering and misuse.

Elvish Yadav’s role in the case came under scrutiny as he was alleged to have facilitated the procurement of snake venom for the party. The complaint filed by People for Animals outlined Yadav’s purported involvement in arranging contacts who could provide the venom. Despite refuting all allegations during questioning, Yadav’s arrest underscores the seriousness of the accusations leveled against him.

It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first controversy involving Elvish Yadav. Earlier, he found himself embroiled in another altercation after a video of him physically assaulting YouTuber Maxtern went viral. Following an FIR filed against him in Gurugram, Yadav issued a statement explaining the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As investigations continue and legal proceedings unfold, the Noida snake venom case serves as a stark reminder of the dangers associated with the illegal procurement and misuse of wildlife resources. The arrest of Elvish Yadav highlights the need for stringent enforcement of laws aimed at protecting endangered species and curbing wildlife trafficking.

In response to the charges against him, Yadav took to social media to vehemently deny the allegations, labeling them as baseless and fake. He also expressed his willingness to cooperate with the authorities in resolving the matter.

As the case progresses, the spotlight remains firmly on the intricate web of events surrounding the Noida snake venom case. With the fate of those involved hanging in the balance, it serves as a sobering reminder of the consequences of flouting wildlife protection laws and engaging in illegal activities that endanger both human lives and wildlife species.
