Today we will learn how to make Veg Cutlets. You can have these veg cutlets for breakfast or you can also give them to kids in tiffin for school, so let’s know the ingredients for making veg cutlets.
Ingredients required to make Veg Cutlets-
- Boiled potatoes 4-5
- Shredded Cabbage 1 cup
- Carrot grated 1 cup
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- Chili paste 1-2 tbsp
- 3-4 teaspoons of green coriander leaves
- Cumin 1/4 tsp
- Try 1/4
- Lemon juice 1-2 tbsp
- Pepper powder 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Corn flour, chickpea flour 2-3 tbsp
- Bread curm/soji as required
- Oil for frying
Recipes:
To make veg cutlet, first put grated carrot, cabbage and finely chopped onion in a pot, add half teaspoon of salt and mix it and keep it aside for ten minutes.
In another vessel, after grating the boiled potatoes, add chili paste, lemon juice, ajmo, cumin and salt to taste, green coriander, chopped green cabbage, carrot and onion. After that add bread krum or flour or corn flour and mix it properly and by applying oil in your hands, make balls of the size you want to make cutlets and put them in a plate with bread krum or semolina.
Now gently coat the balls with semolina or bread in order. Then press and shape into cutlets. Again coat in bread krum or semolina and prepare all the cutlets.
Now heat oil in a pan on gas. When the oil is hot, put as many cutlets as it can contain. Fry these cutlets till they turn golden. After it turns golden, remove the cutlet and add the remaining cutlet to it and fry all the cutlet. (You can also prepare the cutlets by grilling them)
Now your tasty fun and tastiest veg cutlet is ready, serve it with sauce or tamarind chutney or green chutney.
