On 15 August 1947, India was freed from British rule. It has been 75 years today. The 130 crore population of independent India is celebrating the Amrit Mohotsav of Independence today. The whole country was painted in tricolor just by a call of the Prime Minister. Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan received a very good response.

Today Prime Minister Narendra Modi first bowed to Bapu. He reached Rajghat and paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, the priest of non-violence. He then reached the Red Fort where he hoisted the national flag for the 9th time.

After hoisting the national flag, the Prime Minister addressed the countrymen from the Red Fort. First of all, the Prime Minister wished not only the countrymen but also the Indians living abroad on the Independence Day. PM Modi remembered the revolutionaries, revolutionaries, viranganas and great men who gave freedom to the country. He remembered all the revolutionaries, revolutionaries, heroes and great men including Gandhiji, Jawaharlal Nehruji, Sardar Patel, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajyaguru, Rani Laxmibai and said that today is an opportunity to bow down to them. It was impossible for the country to get freedom without his sacrifice, his resolve was great due to which he was able to get freedom. Prime Minister Modi appealed to the countrymen to take the resolve to develop the country in immortality.

Prime Minister Modi said that the country has seen many ups and downs since independence. There have been many obstacles in the development of the country. But after 75 years, today India has come to a position in the world where the world is looking for solutions to many problems from India. Today the country is supportive. It is a leader in many ways. The world has a lot of expectations and hopes from India.

Prime Minister Modi also talked about the purification of the country’s politics. He said that corrupt leaders need to be put to death. The glorification of leaders who are in jail, accused of corruption, should be stopped.
