After that, the screening of the film was also organized in Jamia by the student organizations, but due to heavy protests there too, the screening could not be done. Now the students of Delhi University and Allahabad University have also announced the screening of this documentary on Narendra Modi as if they have raised a revolt.
On the other hand, a group of students is continuously opposing this documentary. Students of Janu and Jami Mahabharat Delhi University also organized a screening of the documentary but after heavy protests police detained 24 students of Delhi University and later released them.
Why Controversy From BBC Documentary?
In this documentary made by BBC ‘India: The Modi Question’, a documentary film has been made in two parts about the communal riots of 2002 that broke out in Gujarat, in which many questions have been raised about the riots on the then Chief Minister Narendra Modi, about which there is resentment among many Modi fans. How the 2002 riots happened, how the train was set on fire at Godhra, then the violence broke out, why the violence could not be controlled, the law and order situation worsened.
Now the question is whether the Supreme Court of the country will intervene in this whole matter and file a case, then which country will give a verdict on it, whether the screening of this documentary can be done in the country or should it be done or not, or there will be a complete ban on this documentary in India. Will be imposed?
