We are talking about the movie VIKRAM directed by Lokesh Kanagraj and starring veteran actor Kamal Haasan. If a review is to be given in a single line, it should be written that if the film has not been seen, then it should be seen immediately.
The story of the film Vikram is strong, but its storytelling is also excellent, which keeps the audience hooked till the end. The story of the film is drug mafia based, showing drug trafficking, fights, gangsterism and corruption in the police system and several criminal activities.
The film is three hours long, but the rhythm in which the film goes, is very much liked by the audience. Apart from Kamal Haasan, the film has many strong actors, in which Vijay Sethupathi has put four moons in the role of the villain. The entry itself is amazing. The top villain in the drugs mafia is Rolex who is shown at the very end of the film, seeing Surya in the character of Rolex will play a certain city in his fan theater. Agent Amar is played by Fahadh Faasil, who also leaves no stone unturned in his performance. Fahad’s powerful performance must have been seen in PUSHPA as well.
After watching the trailer and poster of Vikram movie, if you are sitting to watch the movie, then you must have no idea that Kamal Haasan will have a big character in the movie, it is there and it comes out as a surprise. But in the film the narrator kept one more character a secret which when revealed, shocked everyone, and that is Agent Tina. You will surely avoid this character throughout the film but when he comes out, you will surely say OMG.
All over the film’s story, casting, characters, acting, direction, the film does not use Chilachalu properties. The novel use of the property is what makes the film so appealing. When you come out of the theater after watching the movie, one song will definitely come out in your mouth and that is Once upon a time there lived a Ghost….
