Ingredients for the recipe:
Rice – 2 cups
Urad dal – 1 tsp
Chickpeas – 1/2 cup
Rye – 1 tsp
Gram dal – 1 tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Whole Red Chillies – 2 nos
Fenugreek seeds – 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Neem leaves – 10-15
Grated coconut – 1 tsp
Lemon juice – 3 tsp
Oil – for growth
Salt – according to taste
Look at the method:
To make lemon rice first wash the rice and wash it thoroughly. Now soak the rice in water for about 20 minutes. After a certain time, keep the rice in that vessel and mix water and salt in it and keep it on medium gas. When the rice is cooked, discard the remaining water and separate the rice in a bowl. Now take a pan and heat some oil in it. When the oil is hot, add a teaspoon of hing.
After this, mix red chillies, gram dal, fenugreek dal and urad dal. Now let it sit till its color turns light brown. After this mix rye and pulses in this mixture. Let it stay for a while too. Add the neem leaves to the rai tatade and let the mixture fry for 30 seconds. When the mixture is cooked well, mix in the pre-prepared rice. Mix turmeric, lemon juice and salt to taste.
