The people of peaceful Gujarat have also seen the time when curfew was imposed in cities every second day. But under the skillful leadership of Narendrabhai, the riots in Gujarat are now a thing of the past.

There was a time when riots became common in Gujarat. In some cities, curfew was imposed every other day.. Then Narendrabhai took over the helm of Gujarat and changed the law and order situation to such an extent that today’s youth do not know what curfew is.. Gujarat has become the safest state in the country for girls. Better law and order has also boosted industry and service sector in Gujarat. Foreign investment in Gujarat has increased, one of the main reasons being the better law and order in the state.

Gujarat has become the ‘development engine’ of the country

The development journey of Gujarat which started 22 years ago is still unstoppable. The Vibrant Summit started with the inspiration and vision of Chief Minister Narendrabhai gave a new impetus to the development of Gujarat and today Gujarat is renowned as the engine of development in the country and is also guiding other states.

Launched Vibrant Summit to boost industries in Gujarat. This event grew into an organization and became an inspiration to other states as well. Special policies like Special Investment Region, Industries Policy, Textile Policy were made for industries. Projects like Special Gift City, Dream City were started in Gujarat. From the year 2016-17, Gujarat has become the manufacturing hub of the country for the fourth consecutive time.

From the year 2000 to 2022, Gujarat received an investment of 55 billion US dollars. GSDP value of Gujarat in FY 2022-23 is 22.61 lakh crore. Narendrabhai’s tireless efforts laid a strong economic foundation in Gujarat and with only 6 percent of the country’s land and 5 percent of its population, the state of Gujarat earned the distinction of being the ‘Development Engine of India’. At present, Gujarat contributes approximately 8 percent to the country’s GDP.
