Shah Rukh Khan’s dedicated fan club, SRK Universe, is gearing up for an exclusive early morning screening of the superstar’s upcoming film, “Dunki,” on its release day, December 21, at Mumbai’s iconic Gaiety Cinema. Renowned as the largest Shah Rukh Khan fan club, SRK Universe is orchestrating the “first-ever 5.55 am show” for the Rajkumar Hirani-directed movie.
The fan club officially announced the unique event on its X page, sharing the exciting news. “After the first-ever 9 am show at Gaiety (#Pathaan) and the first-ever 6 am show at Gaiety (#Jawan), thrilled to announce we are organizing the first-ever 5:55 am show at Gaiety (555) for Dunki!” proclaimed the post.
SRK Universe proudly claims that the 5.55 am slot marks the “earliest show in the history of the iconic cinema” hall. This initiative follows the success of the first-ever 9 am show for “Pathaan” at Gaiety Cinema, which was subsequently followed by the first 6 am show for “Jawan” at the same venue, as highlighted in a press release.
“Dunki” is described as a comedic drama that delves into the themes of friendships, borders, homesickness, and love. The film revolves around an illegal immigration technique known as ‘donkey flight.’ Alongside Shah Rukh Khan, the star-studded cast includes Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover.
