Remarkably, this year saw Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) outperforming other institutions. In the Class 10 results, JNVs and KVs achieved an impressive pass percentage of 99.09%. This trend mirrors the previous year’s performance, where JNVs scored 99.14%, and KVs secured a pass percentage of 98%. However, in 2022, KVs experienced a slight dip with a pass percentage of 96.61%, ranking third after JNVs, which attained 99.71%. This drop was attributed to the disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic-induced lockdowns, resulting in the cancellation of board exams.

Prior to the pandemic, KVs consistently led in performance, maintaining the top spot with pass percentages ranging from 99.23% in 2020 to 100% in previous years. Similarly, JNVs consistently secured the second spot during this period.

In the Class 12 results, a different trend emerged, with the Central Tibetan School Administration (CTSA) making its mark alongside JNVs and KVs. CTSA clinched the second spot last year with 96.77%, while JNVs led with 97.51%, and KVs secured the third spot with 92.51%. This pattern continued in 2022, with JNVs maintaining the top position with 98.93%, followed by CTSA with 97.96%, and KV with 97.04%.

These results underscore the consistent performance of KVs and JNVs in the CBSE exams, demonstrating their commitment to academic excellence despite challenging circumstances.
