Kerala-born Businessman’s Name in Hezbollah Pager Blasts?

In a case connecting global business networks to a complex Hezbollah investigation, Rinson Jose, a businessman originally from Kerala and now a Norwegian citizen, came under scrutiny. His Bulgaria-based company, Norta Global, was linked to pagers that were allegedly used in explosions targeting Hezbollah members in Lebanon.

The pagers in question carried the brand of Taiwanese company Gold Apollo, but the devices were reportedly supplied through a series of intermediary companies, including a Hungarian firm. Investigations suggested that Norta Global played a role in facilitating the transaction. Although the company was registered in Sofia, Bulgaria, the Bulgarian National Security Agency (SANS) investigated the matter and cleared Jose and Norta Global of direct involvement in the pager blasts, stating no such equipment passed through Bulgaria.

The situation highlights how global supply chains and shell companies can unintentionally become part of such international incidents. Rinson Jose, who maintains ties to Norway, has reportedly gone missing since the incident came to light, adding further mystery to the case. Despite his company’s involvement, Bulgarian authorities confirmed that Norta Global had no hand in manufacturing or distributing the explosive pagers.

When will the bloody war between Russia-Ukraine end?

It has been more than two months since the Russia-Ukraine war. Russian forces are still attacking Ukrainian cities. Russia has attacked Severodonetsk in Luhansk 9 times in the last 24 hours. In which 7 buildings have been severely damaged. There have been 26 attacks in Luhansk. One person has been killed in a bombing in Dnipropetrovsk, Krivi Ri. Russian troops have also attacked Chernihiv with reports of several deaths.

However, the Ukrainian military, on the other hand, claims that Russia has fired about 800 cruise and ballistic missile strikes since the start of the war.

Ukraine taking on Russia

Russia claims that it is under attack from Ukraine. In which one Russian citizen has died, while six people have been injured. A minor is also among the injured. The bombs dropped by Ukraine fell in the village of Solokhi in Russia’s Belgorod region, which has a population of 600 people. Which is only 11 kilometers away from the border of Ukraine. Russian citizens are currently being evacuated from here to a safer place due to fears of further attacks from Ukraine.

Last week too, Ukraine carried out two attacks in Belgorod, which the governor also confirmed. Belgorod is only 40 km from Kharkiv. Due to the short distance, Russia provided adequate security, but attacks did occur in Belgorod. However, Ukraine called this claim of Russia baseless.

Great loss to Russia

Ukraine did not attack Russia in the early stages of the war but when patience ran out, it too started attacking Russia. A recent attack on Ukraine destroyed a Russian missile cruiser Moskva stationed in the Black-Sea. The Slava class missile cruiser was launched in 1979. It was equipped with 16 anti-ship missiles and many air defense missiles, torpedoes and guns. All these weapons were destroyed in the attack of Ukraine.

The war has been going on for 80 days but still Russia has not been able to capture Ukraine. Russia may have destroyed cities like Kharkiv, Mariupol, Sumy, but Russia has failed to capture the capital of Ukraine, Kiev.

World angry with Russia

Globally speaking, most of the countries have turned against Russia, supporting countries are abandoning it one by one. Nevertheless, Russia traditionally celebrated Victory Day on May 9. On Victory Day, Putin said that

NATO wants to create a threat on our border. He wanted to attack Russia. The Russian army is defending its homeland in Ukraine. The Russian military has taken necessary countermeasures at the right time against the policies of the Western countries.

Kazakhstan was also eliminated

The day is celebrated to commemorate the victory of the Soviet Union over the Nazi forces of Germany in World War II. Victory Day is also celebrated in the allied countries of the former Soviet Union. But this time Kazakhstan, a pro-Russia country, refused to celebrate Victory Day in protest of the war in Ukraine. This decision of Kazakhstan is a signal to stay away from aggressive actions of Russia. However, on the proposal of the United States to remove Russia from the United Nations Human Rights Council, Kazakhstan adopted a policy of exclusion.

Countries including India helped

Like other countries including India-America, Kazakhstan also sent humanitarian aid to Ukraine. In March, three planes equipped with medical equipment were sent. Apart from this, a lot of help including food was sent. So the European Union can spend 195 billion dollars to reduce energy dependence on Russia

Britain also came to help

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has proposed to help Sweden and Finland in case of a Russian attack. Johnson says that

Britain is ready to help Sweden and Finland as much as possible. He is also in favor of giving them NATO membership, and Britain will support him in the voting on this issue.
