Bollywood actor Radhika Apte recently shared a harrowing experience at an airport where she and fellow passengers were confined to the aerobridge due to a flight delay. Without specifying the city or airline, the ‘Sacred Games’ star took to Instagram to express her frustration.
In her post, Apte revealed that despite the flight being scheduled for 8:30 AM, it was still not boarded by 10:50 AM. She recounted how passengers, including those with small children and elderly individuals, were placed in the aerobridge and locked inside for over an hour with no information from the airline staff.
Sharing photos and videos of the ordeal, Apte highlighted the lack of communication from the airline and the inconvenience caused to passengers. According to her, the airline informed them that they would be stuck in the locked aerobridge until at least 12 PM, leaving passengers without access to water or restrooms.
Apte explained that the airline staff attributed the delay to a crew change, stating that the new crew had not yet arrived. Frustrated by the lack of clarity and communication, Apte managed to briefly escape to speak with a staff member who insisted there was no issue or delay.
The incident sheds light on the challenges faced by passengers during flight delays and the importance of transparent communication from airlines to ensure the comfort and well-being of travelers. Radhika Apte concluded her post by sharing her displeasure with the situation, emphasizing the need for better handling of such scenarios by airline staff.
