At the ‘Sashakt Nari-Viksit Bharat’ programme, PM Narendra Modi announced that his new chapter will focus on the rise of women’s power. He emphasized women-centric schemes that will create opportunities for them and create ways to empower them.

PM Modi also critically recalls how the previous government’s plan excluded the plans for women’s development and neglected their hardships.

He also claimed that they are the first government to highlight women-related issues such as lack of toilets, use of sanitary pads, the requirements of bank accounts, and adverse effects of smoke-causing kitchen fuels like wood and coal.
The data presented Rs 8 crore distributed among the women and Rs 1 crore for
‘Lakhpati Didi Scheme’. Covering economic development areas by introducing programs like ‘Namo Drone Didi’ which focuses on providing bank loans allowing financial freedom to women, especially in rural areas.
Although the narrative appears to intertwine political aspirations with political outcomes, the initiatives indeed provide help to women. Maybe even through ulterior motives, women might achieve liberation and it might affect the demographics of women. It might break down the barriers and help a woman achieve freedom in various sectors.
