Gurucharan Singh, famously known as Roshan Singh Sodhi from the TV show “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,” has been missing since April 22. The Delhi Police have filed a case regarding his disappearance. He was last spotted at the Delhi airport. DCP South-West Delhi Rohit Meena stated that the police are actively investigating the case, examining CCTV footage and pursuing various leads.
According to DCP Meena, Gurucharan Singh’s family reported that he left for Mumbai on April 22 at 8:30 pm but has not been seen since. A case has been registered under Section 365 of the IPC, and authorities are utilizing CCTV footage and technical evidence to trace his movements. He was observed carrying a backpack at the airport.
The news of Gurucharan Singh’s disappearance has deeply affected his family and colleagues. Sachin Shroff, who portrays Taarak Mehta in the show, expressed his concern, stating that although he didn’t work directly with Gurucharan, the team is supporting the family and coordinating with authorities. Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who portrayed Gurucharan’s on-screen wife, shared her distress, revealing that she hadn’t been in touch with him for a year and had unsuccessfully attempted to contact him. She expressed hope for his safety.
Gurucharan Singh’s father, Harjit Singh, also expressed worry about his son’s whereabouts, stating that they haven’t received any updates yet, leaving them all tense and anxious.
